Thomas Jefferson High School aims to provide a safe, secure, and diverse environment that encourages students to be active, life-long learners. We do this by providing challenging curricular programs that foster inquiring, knowledgeable, internationally-minded, and caring young people who actively strive to create a better world through intercultural understanding and respect.
Raider Nation is excited to start the 2022-2023 school year! We have settled into our new building and have been planning ways to utilize the beautiful space to engage Raiders to begin the year. We will be having assemblies, inviting the community onto campus for events, and starting strong with clubs, athletics, and activities.
Our initiatives for the 2022-2023 school year include fostering an inclusive classroom environment and culture, implementing teaching practices that provide lesson access for all learners, and developing restorative practices to grow our communication as a learning community. We will continue to hone these practices throughout the year.
