Congratulations to Keanu Earnest, who has been chosen as the 2023 Federal Way Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year! Keanu was recognized by the Federal Way Boys and Girls Club for this prestigious award for demonstrating leadership, service, academic excellence, and dedication to living a healthy lifestyle.
Keanu was honored at the King County event and also received a $500 scholarship. His goal is to attend college after high school.
Congratulations Keanu and for your commitment to school, volunteering, and the community. We are #FWPSproud of you!
Congratulations to our Special Olympics Basketball Team, Federal Way Stars, for winning the State Championship Senior Division!
FWPS partners with Special Olympics to offer scholars with disabilities the opportunity to participate in athletics and be empowered with a sense of belonging.
The team competed through the King County Sub Regionals and the King County Regionals tournaments to win both gold medals and was later awarded the State Championship.
Congratulations to Jun Frame, Jackie Bagley, Ammar AlQaraghuli, Dylan Ortiz De Anaya, Osman Hamid, Grace Salavea, Abdelaziz Hamid, and coaches Terry Lathan, Tony Schoeler, and Evan Jordan.

This prestigious award was issued by Cambridge Assessment International Education to recognize their outstanding performance in the Cambridge International June 2022 exams.
The Cambridge examinations are taken by learners in over 40 countries around the world and acknowledge scholars for their exemplary academic performance.
