We would like to recognize our graduates who have persisted to graduation — Goal 5 of our strategic plan. We are so proud of them and are excited to recognize this great achievement now.

  • Timofey Andriyuk went to Thomas Jefferson High School, but did not acquire enough credits to graduate. He enrolled at Open Doors where he researched career and college pathways. He chose to become a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, and is now enrolled at Bates College working toward his degree.
  • Jamaal Ioane - After having to attend to his family, Jamaal came back to school in January 2018 and completed the credits needed to graduate. Jamaal keeps pushing himself in his education and in life to strive for greatness. Jamaal will continue his education at Mt. San Antonio College and will start there in the fall of 2018. Open Doors believes in his continued success, and looks forward to seeing the great things that he will no doubt accomplish.
  • Fernando Chivara attended Todd Beamer High School where he was short of graduation by one advanced math class. In order to qualify for the Marine Corps, he returned to Federal Way Open Doors where he earned his diploma. His dream is to help people by becoming a police office after serving in the Marines.

Congrats, graduates!
