Be a STEAM Partner
Partner to help us inspire hundreds of students explore, prepare, and launch into STEAM at STEAM Exploration Night on March 26, 2026, 6-8 p.m. at Federal Way High School.
Federal Way Public Schools' annual STEAM Exploration Night embraces the integral role of the arts in fostering creativity and innovation within science, technology, engineering, and math. The inclusion of the “A” in STEAM highlights the importance of design thinking, visual creativity, and problem-solving skills – essential elements in today’s interdisciplinary world!
As the second most diverse school district in Washington with nearly 22,000 PK-12 students, we are committed to offering our students equitable opportunities to explore and participate in STEAM activities that spark interest in pursuing STEM careers. STEAM Exploration Night encourages students to explore STEAM activities and career opportunities in our region and beyond!
STEAM businesses and organizations can help inspire scholars to engage in STEAM activities, pursue STEAM learning opportunities, and potentially STEAM careers by offering a STEAM experience, and we need your help as an event Partner to expose students to a world of possibilities.
Our event historically draws thousands of students and families in attendance. Last year, we broke the record our previous attendance record by more than a thousand, with over 4,200 individuals present. It's clear — STEAM Exploration Night can change the trajectory of our students' lives. By interacting with local STEAM businesses, STEAM career preparation programs, and school-based STEAM projects and clubs, students can discover and pursue careers they didn’t even know existed. As an event Partner, you can host a booth, workshop experience, or activity table, and/or participate in a panel discussion to inspire scholars to engage in STEAM activities, pursue STEAM learning opportunities, and potentially STEM careers.
Your involvement in this event will be invaluable to our scholars. With your help, we can ensure students graduate from high school ready for college, career, and post-secondary experiences.

I loved sharing Skill Struck with the scholars at this event! There were SO many engaged students who wanted to practice typing and coding at our booth. It was wonderful to connect with so many parents as well.skill struck
