The district has hit a new all-time high in recent history with the Class of 2019 reaching 87%!
From 2012 to 2019, the district’s four-year cohort graduation rates have increased by a total of 16.8 points. Additionally, the district’s five-year cohort graduation rates have risen each year from 74.4% in 2012 to 88.2% in 2018.
The district continues to see success when preparing students for life beyond high school. Highlights include:
In the 2018-19 school year, 71% of all high school scholars took advanced coursework, with 92% of these scholars earning a passing grade.
81% of scholars who attended a four-year postsecondary institution were continuously enrolled.
63% of scholars enrolled in a two or four-year college program are out-performing the state average.
FWPS is setting its goal higher for the years to come with 95% of the senior class graduating on time by 2022.
