King County Library System Partnership: Free Online Tutoring and More

Federal Way Public Schools partners with the King County Library System (KCLS) to give every K–12 student free, easy access to KCLS online resources—including Brainfuse HelpNow, a live online tutoring service available in English and Spanish.

Through this partnership, every FWPS student automatically receives a KCLS student account that:

  • Uses their school ID for quick and easy access

  • Provides free, live tutoring, writing help, and test prep resources

  • Offers a wide range of research databases, eBooks, and more—all online

  • Charges no late fees or fines, since resources are digital

Students can connect with a live tutor through Brainfuse for one-on-one homework help in real time. Support is available for multiple subjects, and tutors are online every day from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

For details on how students can log in and start using their KCLS account, visit our KCLS Student Access page.

You can also learn more about Brainfuse Free Online Tutoring directly on the KCLS website.
