• Federal Way Public Schools is coordinating and working in unison with the North Puget Sound League for a safe return to athletics.

We have some news to share: Aligned with the latest guidelines, the North Puget Sound League (NPSL) has approved the return of limited spectators at home games.

Beginning the week of March 29, 2021, 2 spectator passes will be allocated per rostered FWPS athlete to attend home games at our athletic venues.

Live streaming of the games will continue for this year’s sports seasons so the larger community can watch our scholar-athletes from their homes:

    Important spectator details:

    • 2 passes will be allocated for family members of rostered athletes
      • The pass contains the Health Screening form
      • Passes will be provided to your scholar-athlete prior to each game
    • Students are only allowed with an adult admission
    • There is no admission fee to the athletic venues
    • All attendees must follow Department of Health guidelines at events including:
      • The required Health Screening must be completed prior to entry
      • Wear a mask
      • 6 feet social distance at all times including when seated at the venue

We have strict health and safety protocols in place at athletic events for attendees, staff, and scholar-athletes. Failure to comply with safety protocols will result in being asked to leave the event.

FWPS will continue to pay close attention to the COVID-19 rates in the region, and work in partnership with other districts in the NPSL.
