Welcome to Lakeland Elementary School. Lakeland has been dedicated to providing the very best elementary education for our scholars, Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. We pride ourselves on being a learning environment that truly believes through our actions. All scholars will be successful academically, socially, and emotionally and we know it will happen with a strong family partnership.

We are all very excited about the school year, where classrooms once again will be full with lessons, activities and ideas that challenge and inspire our scholars. Our students are compassionate, creative, and filled with desire to meet new challenges and pursue creative paths to solutions.

Our amazing teachers work hard to create an exceptional learning environment for our scholars. Our teachers and scholars are focusing on learning routines and discussion protocols to help scholars engage in rigorous academic conversations to push their thinking and the thinking of others. We believe in a growth mindset, where ALL scholars feel a sense of belonging by creating multiple pathways to success.

Throughout the year, exciting things are happening in our classrooms and on our campus! We encourage you to get involved by volunteering in school activities, and taking an active role in your scholars’ education. You are the best gift you can give your scholar. You are your scholars most important teacher. The elementary years go quickly, but they are among the most important and fundamental years of your scholar’s life. It is my desire to keep the focus on increasing scholar achievement and doing what it takes to support ALL our scholars to be successful and enjoy coming to school each day. I believe that learning should be fun and that an elementary school should pave the way for a lifetime of learning.
