Dear Lake Dolloff Families,
I am thrilled that our 2022-2023 school year is underway! It is an honor to serve my fourth year as your Proud Principal at Lake Dolloff Elementary. This school year has already brought such excitement. Whether it is while visiting classrooms or when in a common area such as the playground or cafeteria, being around our scholars gives me such a joy.
Our staff is strongly committed to providing all our scholars with ampple oppertunities that further develop their unique selves. We know each of our scholars has strength, purpose, and potential. Our entire team is devoted to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment. We are dedicated to cultivating compassion and courage in each of our scholars, enabling them to lead and learn with love. Our scholars know "The Dolphin Way" is the: be safe, kind and productive. All scholars have a power goal to help them grow in their independent reading level. Please support your scholar by asking them to explain their reading power goal and encouraging them to read at home.Thank you for partnering with us to further support our scholars in their academic, social, and emotional development. As we move further into the year, please remember to read our weekly newsletter, "The Dolphin Weekly Wave." Details about upcoming events will be shared in our newsletter. For example, be on the lookout for more information about Scholar Led Conferences, Principal feedback sessions for families, and music concerts for each grade-level. Also, please do not hesitate to read out to your teacher, our office, or myself directly. Your partnership makes all the difference!Your Proud Principal,
Ms. McBride
