• This year, we are changing the venue location to allow for a more intimate setting for families and their graduates, and to ensure attendees don’t have to pay for parking. All three of the graduation venues are a closer distance for Federal Way attendees. 

    Thursday, June 6, 2019, 6 p.m., Federal Way Performing Arts & Events Center located at 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way South in Federal Way, WA 98003:

    • Career Academy
    • Federal Way Open Doors
    • Internet Academy

    Graduates should arrive at least one hour prior to their graduation, and families should arrive at least 45 minutes prior to graduation to allow extra time to park and enter the facility. There will be an overflow room at the PAEC where attendees can view the graduation ceremony live projected on a screen. Video of the graduation will be available on the district website after the ceremony.

    The PAEC upholds security with the highest priority. Backpacks are not allowed. All bags, including handbags and purses, are subject to a pre-entry search. If you avoid bringing a bag it will speed up your entry into the facility. Please refrain from bringing noise makers and balloons. This applies to both attendees and graduates.

    The ShoWare Center upholds security with the highest priority. Safety measures include:

    -Metal detector wands to be used at all points of entry
    -Backpacks are prohibited
    -Bags, including handbags and purses, may not be larger than 14” x 14” x 6”
    -All bags, regardless of sizes, are subject to a pre-entry search
