Hello FWPA Families!

Thank you for welcoming me into your school as the Guest Principal at Federal Way Public Academy. I know change can bring much anxiety and uncertainty. I assure you that I will honor your accomplishment to date and support the staff of FWPA to provide our scholars with the academic and social-emotional tools required for them to be successful as they transition from middle school to high school and beyond.

I have a long history of leadership roles in schools across the district. I served in multiple leadership roles at Federal Way High School, Todd Beamer High School, and Illahee Middle School. I have also assumed the guest principal role at Evergreen (Totem), Silver Lake Elementary, Sequoyah Middle School, Woodmont K-8, and Brigadoon Elementary.

With this experience, my plan is to continue implementing the systems already in place at FWPA, such as continuing the master schedule and daily routines, maintaining communication channels, supporting climate and culture strategies, and welcoming parent involvement and student voice.

My goal is to grow along with you, and I look forward to collaborating with each of you to provide a safe, nurturing school environment for our scholars as we continue moving forward at Federal Way Public Academy.
