A Message from Superintendent Dr. Dani Pfeiffer
Dear FWPS Families,
With the anticipated changes in the national landscape, we have received some questions regarding our immigration policies. I want to take a few moments to reaffirm that every student has the right to a free, high-quality education, no matter their immigration or citizenship status. This is protected by law, reflected in our district policies, and grounded in our unwavering belief in the success of all FWPS students and families.
In Federal Way Public Schools, we are deeply committed to creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive environments— where every student is embraced, valued and safe--every family is respected---and every voice is heard, while protecting their rights and dignity.
We remain committed to educating every student and welcoming every family that comes through our doors, regardless of immigration or documentation status.
These commitments guide every aspect of our work with students and families.
If you or your family need additional support or information, please take a look at the resources we have available below. We will continue to update this page as new or updated resources are available.
In Partnership,
Dr. Dani Pfeiffer
Superintendent
