Lakota has three academies available to our students. The Cambridge Checkpoint Preparatory Academy is an advanced program for academically talented middle school students, sponsored by Cambridge University in England. The IESA program is committed to educating responsible citizens who will contribute in positive ways to the local and world community. The Lakota Arts Academy (LAA) will allow students to develop self-esteem, to be self-expressive, and to apply their knowledge of other, more academic subjects in creative ways.

Lakota also boasts fantastic music programs, headed by our music teachers, Mr. and Mrs. Roller. These music programs do yearly trips to perform in competitions and fundraisers to help students make it on these trips.
