  •

Developing the whole child, is the goal of the Mark Twain Extracurricular Program. Scholar-Athletes are offered a chance to compete on and off the field in a variety of forums.

For organized sports, Mark Twain has enjoyed a long history of forming teams through the Federal Way Boys and Girls Club for soccer, baseball and basketball competitions. Currently, the athletic focus is on elementary Track and Field. In 2014 Mark Twain ran all the way to the State Finals in Vancouver, Wa. in the 200, 400 and 800m. In 2016, Mark Twain again outran the competition and reached District Finals clinching their best finish ever. Bringing home the 3rd place trophy, The Mighty Bullfrog moved from an unranked position, to the Top 10 and then to the Top 3 in the city of Federal Way! In 2017 The Might Bullfrogs reached the pinnacle of their success and earned a 2nd Place All District Finish. But in 2019, The Mighty Bullfrogs took it all. First Place in Federal Way! And they remain as the reigning District Champions through 2021!

FWET begins in the early spring with practices at school and meets at the Federal Way Memorial Stadium. Last year the Bullfrogs had a nearly 200 runners member roster and clinched with 53 Championship Berths.

MT’s track program is proud to boast of a few former frogs, from years ago, who ran all the way to the Hershey Invitational in Pennsylvania and VanCouver Wa.! Come join us and succeed!
