Remote Learning Continues; School Buildings Closed

  • On April 6, 2020 Governor Inslee announced that school buildings are closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year, in order to slow the spread of COVID-19. While buildings are closed, we will continue to provide remote instruction to scholars through the end of the school year in June.

The extended closure raises questions for students and families about what a closure may mean for the remainder of the school year.

Our staff has worked hard to develop a continuous learning plan and means of support during the closure. Here are answers to some of these questions:

  • Remote learning, from April 20 through the end of the school year

  • Grading in FWPS for Second Semester

  • Engaging our Scholars During Remote Learning

  • Support for seniors

  • Childcare

  • Technology for Students in Need

  • Field Trips and Events

  • Summer School
