Our school goals align with the district strategic plan:
School-wide focus on positive behaviors and support for social emotional well being: Tier 1 PBIS Implementation at 87%
Improved attendance by 5% over past 3 years as we work to engage families through programs like In it Together
Area of Focus
Continue to align supports for all scholars’ academic and social emotional needs through advisory lessons and school-wide systems to proactively support each scholar’s academic and emotional well being
Goal 4- Content-Area Competence: Mastery of All Subjects
Pride Points
Strong gains in math achievement (+5%) due to strong teacher collaboration and professional development focused on math
Increase in the number of scholars on target for independent reading
Area of Focus
Continue the trajectory of our math gains while focusing on reading and writing through claim, evidence and reasoning
Community Involvement
Our Communities In Schools liaison coordinates direct service support to our scholars and families. Volunteers, mentors and community partners engage with scholars in creating a positive school culture. We are always looking for others to join us. Please contact Jalece Eaton at jeaton@fwps.org
