Federal Way Public Schools No. 210 (District) is authorized by RCW
28A.335.190 to maintain a Small Works Roster (Roster) and is required by RCW
39.04.151 to annually advertise the existence of this Roster. In order to be listed on the District’s Roster, the attached application must be completed and submitted.
To become a successful applicant on the District’s Roster and before the award of a public works contract, a bidder must meet the requirements of RCW 39.04.350 and any other relevant supplemental criteria which include, but are not limited to:
- Certificate of Registration with Department of L&I
- Current UBI Number
- If applicable, Industrial Insurance
- Not disqualified from bidding on any public works contract
- Received Public Works and Prevailing Wage training from L&I
- If apprenticeship required, have not been found out of compliance
- Have not violated prevailing wage laws for 3 prior years
Prevailing wages are required on every project. Costs to file Prevailing Wage Intents and Affidavits with the State of Washington and any required bonds are the responsibility of the contractor. Intent to Pay Prevailing Wage forms must be filed before the first invoice payment is made
The District will accept applications at any time, but review and acceptance may take up to a month.
Any firm failing to submit a fully completed application will not be placed on the Roster.
PLEASE NOTE: The District does not guarantee any specific amount of work as a result of a firm being placed on this roster, and in fact, may not award any work at all to a firm placed on the roster.
