Eligible employees may make changes to their current benefit elections during the Annual Open Enrollment. The annual open enrollment is October 27-November 24, 2025 for changes to be effective January 1, 2026.
Current medical, dental, vision, and employee-paid Long Term Disability (LTD) benefit elections will carry over to 2026 if no changes are made during the annual open enrollment.
Annual enrollment is required for Flexible Spending Arrangement (FSA) and/or Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) for continued participation.
2026 key highlights:
- UMP Plus plans will no longer be available in 2026
- FSAs
- Carry over up to $660 of unused FSA funds from the 2025 plan year to the 2026 plan year.
- 2026 annual maximum increased to $3,400.
- Re-enrollment required annually for continued participation.
- Premium Surcharge Attestation
- Re-attest to the spouse or SRDP coverage premium surcharge.
- If you do not re-attest to the spousal surcharge questions, you may be charged the $50 monthly premium surcharge in addition to your monthly medical premium.
- You do NOT need to re-attest to the tobacco surcharge unless tobacco use has changed.
