Flyer Distribution and Approval

Flyers that are non-curricular but have social/emotional, recreational, or educational value for students.

All organizations (other than schools and school-affiliated groups such as PTSAs and booster clubs) must fill out this application.

• To send flyers to parents, you must be a non-profit organization with a state issued non-profit 501(c)3 number.
• To send flyers to staff, you may be either a non-profit or for-profit organization.

Peachjar’s service fee applies to all organizations that are not part of school districts, such as City Park and Recreation Departments, Community Colleges, Little League and Youth Soccer and Football, and all other organizations with non-school district employees. Community Free Program

Peachjar's Community Free flyer program covers the fees for 1 flyer per 28 days for organizations promoting a charitable free program, service or resource where children are the direct beneficiary. By Peachjar incurring this service fee, we hope to make it even easier for these organizations to get the word out and impact the lives of even more children.

The Community Free Posting Program is based on the nature of the flyer itself and not the organization’s tax-exempt status. Peachjar reserves the right to determine final eligibility. 

What Qualifies as a Community Free Flyer?

• Your charitable program, service or resource directly benefits children and does not require participants to qualify, has no enticement for future fee-based programs, and does not serve the purpose of fundraising, collecting donations or allow for the purchase of products or services.
• Your organization is not nationally recognized and physically resides within the boundaries of the school district you wish to distribute to.
• Your organization is not receiving fees or revenue from vendors participating in the event.

Submissions are limited to one flyer distribution to one school district every 28 days. If you wish to distribute to more than one school district or more frequently than every 28 days, you may choose to distribute a standard flyer, subject to Peachjar's service fees.

How It Works

Every Community Free flyer submission will go through this process:

1. Review these qualifications and limitations to ensure your program/event is appropriate for the Community Free Program.
2. Register as a Community Organization on Peachjar.com and contact Peachjar Support for instructions on how to apply by emailing support@peachjar.com or calling (858) 997-2117.
3. Peachjar will review your application in 3-5 business days and notify you whether or not your program event qualifies.
4. If your application is accepted by Peachjar, your flyer will be sent to the school district for the distribution approval at no charge.
   If declined by Peachjar, your flyer will be saved as a draft so you can still post your flyer using the standard method.
5. If your flyer is approved by the school district, it’s all set for distribution.
   If denied by the school district, you will be notified and your flyer will not be distributed.

Make sure you have the final version of your flyer ready before you begin the application.

Please allow five days for flyer approval.  You will be notified by email regarding approval for your flyer.

If approval to distribute your flyer is denied, the posting organization will be notified electronically and a refund will be provided as an account credit after 30 days. This delay enables the district to “undo” the action and subsequently approve a new flyer without the need for the external organization to repeat the uploading and checkout process. Peachjar will expedite processing an account credit upon request.

• Use colorful graphics and photos, not black and white text. Remember you don’t have to pay for color with Peachjar!
• Add your registration URL during the upload process AND embed it into your flyer document before you save it as a pdf.
• Make sure it's clear who your organization is, and what you do.
• Ensure you include the location, time and date of your event.
• During the upload process, create a descriptive “Title” for your flyer.
• Use large colorful graphics to make it easy for parents to read on their smartphone.
• Use large fonts and lengthen your eflyer to several pages if necessary.
