Registration is through April 24, 2026. Families will be notified whether their child has been registered or placed on a waitlist.
Federal Way Public Schools is excited to offer multiple in-person summer learning experiences for scholars again this summer. While we serve as many scholars as we can in our summer programs, space is limited, so register early for one of the following opportunities:
Summer Learning for current grades K-7 scholars
BRAND NEW! Full-Day Program June 26 - July 29 | Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. (No school on July 2-3)
An expanded, full-day program focused on academic growth, hands-on projects, and enrichment. Through generous support from a private funder, this program will be offered at no cost to families.

Summer School for current grades 8-11 scholars
Traditional Program June 29 - July 23 | Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Our proven half-day program returns with flexible options for high school scholars! Experience introductory to high school ELA and Math courses and fun and engaging electives. Incoming 9th grade scholars will also engage in Freshman Success work to prepare for the transition to high school.

Support for All Scholars: To ensure all scholars can participate, FWPS will provide free transportation, breakfast, and lunch. Additionally, our Academic Language Academy is available for scholars receiving multilingual services across all grade levels. Transportation will only be provided for scholars who indicate a need on the registration form. Please remember to let us know if your child requires transportation when you register!
