SMARTIE Goal #1 (Whole Child)

Increase regular attendance of AA/Black, Hispanic and Multi-Racial scholars at ETP from an average of 44% tier one attendance to at least 70% tier one attendance by the end of the 25-26 school year as measured by monthly attendance data reviews.  

SMARTIE Goal #2 (Persistence to Graduation)

As this is a new focus area, ETP will be collecting baseline data in October of 2025. ETP scholars will increase independent living skills by an average of one level from their October baseline, as demonstrated by improved scores on the ETP skills inventory by the end of the 25-26 school year. 
Aligned Signature Strategy(ies)
District, school, and classrooms levels actively analyze and plan with data, disaggregated by race and programming, pertaining to scholar engagement, attendance, and achievement.
 
Provide professional development to increase staff capacity and understanding of ACES and child/adolescent growth and development. (D) 
Ensure all staff regularly communicate with student-scholars and their families through a variety of methods and languages regarding each student-scholars’ progress toward college and career readiness, especially through critical transition years, their High School and Beyond Plans, and on time graduation statue. (D and S) 
 
Teaching and learning behaviors reflect anti-racist and culturally responsive instructional practices (i.e. UDL/SIOP strategies) and norms aligned to the instructional framework and system-wide guaranteed and viable curriculum. (D and S)
