SMARTIE Goal #1 (Whole Child)

By the end of the 2024-2025 school year, every scholar will be able to participate in appropriate social activities (at least one activity involving a back and forth exchange) with an identified peer either verbally, with gestures, or using an AAC device, as measured by a social interaction observation rubric.

SMARTIE Goal #2 (Persistence to Graduation)

All scholars who begin the ETP program will successfully complete the program and transition to adult services, as measured by attendance, graduation and outside agency connection data.
Aligned Signature Strategy(ies)

Collaborate with families in authentic ways (e.g. Parent Advisories, Family Academies, Family Nights, translated materials, videos in multiple languages, home visits) across languages and cultures to integrate family funds of knowledge into school systems and help families understand available services, advocate for their scholar's needs, and support their scholar's learning. (S and D)

Create and utilize personalized pathways based on student-scholar's interests, strengths, and their own life experiences to gain agency and self-direction through culturally relevant projects, assignments, and instructional work. (S and D)

Ensure all staff participate in, and implement strategies related to anti-racist and culturally relevant practices, that also support all student-scholars' movement through school and grade level transitions toward graduation. (D)
