Congratulations to our Federal Way Public Schools class of 2024!

1,500 student-scholars received diplomas during graduation ceremonies held June 7–9. FWPS also celebrated 11 exiting transition scholars in the Employment and Transition Program. Graduates represented the following schools:
  • Decatur High School
  • Federal Way High School
  • TAF@Saghalie
  • Thomas Jefferson High School
  • Todd Beamer High School
  • Truman Campus - Career Academy at Truman, Federal Way Open Doors, Internet Academy

In total, our graduates earned nearly $12 million in scholarships. 242 scholars are the first in their families to graduate from high school. 401 graduates are the first in their families to attend college. Additionally, 200+ scholar graduates have earned the Seal of Biliteracy, with more results coming in this summer.

Graduates heard advice from principals, board members, staff, and student speakers.

Superintendent Dr. Dani Pfeiffer inspired the graduates with heartfelt advice, encouraging them to fearlessly pursue their dreams, persevere through challenges, and celebrate their successes. She reminded them to believe in themselves, just as Federal Way Public Schools believes in them, and highlighted their numerous achievements, from athletic championships to academic excellence and community service. "Each of you has the knowledge and skills you need, and a community surrounding you cheering you on toward success. Your future is bright and full of possibilities."

At Federal Way Public Schools, we believe each scholar has a unique voice, a dream, and a BRIGHT future.
