Memorial Field Ribbon Cutting

Families and Community are invited to the Memorial Field Ribbon Cutting, November 13

The brand-new Federal Way Memorial Field is complete! Help us celebrate this exciting moment by attending a ribbon cutting on Monday, November 13, from 4:30-5:30 p.m.!

About the Event:

The event will kick off with an official ribbon-cutting program featuring remarks and a ceremonial first lap led by FWPS cheerleaders.

During the event:

  • Receive a commemorative gift
  • Tour the stadium and plaza, and view the student-athlete-centered athletic banners
  • Speak to the construction and architect teams

The old Memorial Field served our community for over 50 years. Thanks to voters, we are able to bring back this treasure as a new and improved athletic facility that will serve our student-athletes and community for many years to come. The new Memorial Field is truly a “gem” of Federal Way, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you at this family-friendly ribbon cutting event!
