Congratulations to Decatur High School’s INCubator Entrepreneurship Everyday Medic Team for winning the CHI Franciscan’s Youth Violence Prevention program grant! The INCubator team will be providing the Stop the Bleed Training and Multi-Lingual Medical Consent training to our diverse community.

Congratulations to Federal Way High School scholar, Jodi Rossano for receiving recognition by the 5th Avenue Theatre Awards Project for Outstanding Work in the Character Development Project category as Heather MacNamara in Heathers: The Musical. The new program from the 5th Avenue Theatre allows all high school students to independently select a song from any musical to conduct a character analysis to submit in an audition style video. This recognition received a score of 90% or higher from the 5th Avenue Theatre’s team of professional artists.

We’re proud of the Thomas Jefferson High School Math Team for placing 5th overall among all schools in the Sweepstakes competition and all our scholars that placed individually in the 51st annual Mu Alpha Theta National Math Convention held at the University of Arkansas. The outstanding performance of the 46 scholars in the team allowed Thomas Jefferson’s to continue its 27th consecutive convention placing in the top 10 schools in the nation!

TJHS Math Team earns 5th Place

Congratulations to Thomas Jefferson High School scholar Brandon Bao for being named to the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) Leadership through Education, Activities, and Personal Development (LEAP) statewide committee!

Brandon is one of eight students who were selected to join the committee, and only second ever from our district, and will now be a voice and representative of our community in WIAA events, meetings, community projects, and more.
