Why He Was Nominated

A scholar shared that Mr. Jowenson makes learning history interesting even when he pushes students to step outside of their comfort zones, like learning how to give a presentation in front of class. He has made an impact on many students with his honest and unique style of teaching. He helps students improve skills they didn’t know they had! He is creative and uses projects like podcasts, documentaries, and poetry to keep us engaged.
