Looking for a rewarding position helping to ensure FWPS scholars are well-fed and ready for learning? Nutrition Services may be the fit for you. Nutrition Services staff work in over 130 positions across the district at elementary schools, secondary schools, and at our Central Kitchen facility. Positions range from 2-8 hours per day, with the majority of positions 4 hours or less per day. All Nutrition Services staff begin as Guest Assistants (substitutes), and we hire for our permanent positions from our pool of existing staff and Guest Assistants.

Will I be eligible for benefits?
Posted by:All employees who are assigned to a permanent position of at least 3.5 hours per day will be eligible for benefits.

I don't see any positions posted, are you actually hiring?
Posted by:Yes! We hire from our substitute pool so that you can try out all of the different positions before settling on the perfect school and shift. First, apply to become a Nutrition Services Guest Assistant and we can get you in and try out all of the different positions.
