FAQs about Choice Enrollment @FWPA
What is FWPA?
-
FWPA is a public school and is part of the Federal Way Public School District 210
-
All students are eligible to attend FWPA. While there is no academic performance expectation to attend FWPA, we do expect families & students to be prepared for a rigorous college prep program
How do I get my student into FWPA?
-
All students who wish to attend FWPA MUST apply through the district's Choice Enrollment Program. This includes siblings of current FWPA students who are wanting to enroll at FWPA through sibling preference. Remember, there are limited slots per grade.
-
Priority is given to:
-
Students whose siblings are currently enrolled at the requested School, and have a confirmed placement at the Choice school for the requested school year.
-
Students whose parents are permanent employees of FWPA
-
Students residing in the Federal Way Public School District
-
What happens if my student doesn't get in?
-
If your student does not get into FWPA through the Choice Enrollment Program, your student will be placed on a wait list. As soon as a space becomes available for your student, we will contact you.
