Q: Can I get more than 4 tickets?
A: In order to ensure we are following safety guidelines and remain under the allotted number of people allowed within the stadium, each graduate may have up to four guests accompanying them. Those not able to attend in-person can celebrate with their graduates by viewing the live stream, which can be accessed at www.fwps.org/Graduation2021.
Q: If each graduate is only allowed to bring four guests to the ceremony, can other family/friends wait outside the stadium to take pictures, give leis/gifts, etc?
A: No. For safety reasons, any post-graduation celebrations will need to take place away from school district property.
Q: If a graduate does not invite four guests, can they share their extra tickets with others?
A: No. In order to ensure we remain under the allotted number of people allowed within the stadium while keeping social distancing in place, each graduate may have up to four guests accompanying them. Tickets cannot be transferred to other graduates.
Q: Do I need to wear a mask even if I am vaccinated?
A: Yes, all graduates and their guests must wear a mask while at Memorial Stadium. Graduates will be allowed to briefly remove their mask for video and photos at designated times.
Q: What safety protocols will be in place?
A: We will follow all health and safety guidelines, to include, but not limited to: face masks, social distancing, cleaning/disinfecting, health screening, staggered events, defined flows of traffic. Graduates and their guests must complete a health attestation form and present at check-in (forms can be found in the graduation packet provided to each graduate.)
Q: What time should I arrive?
A: Graduates and their guests (up to 4) should arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled ceremony time. Your anticipated arrival time is indicated on your parking pass.
Q: How can those not attending in-person at Memorial Stadium view the live stream of graduation?
A: Links to the live stream of each graduation ceremony will be available at www.fwps.org/Graduation2021.
Q: When will tickets be distributed?
A: Your ticket to graduation will be a completed health attestation form that you bring with you to your graduation, which you will present at the check-in table. These forms will be distributed by your school in a packet containing important information about graduation.
Q: Where is graduation this year?
A: The commencement ceremony for the Class of 2021 will have an online component as well as an in-person experience. The pre-recorded portion and live stream will be available at www.fwps.org/Graduation2021 . The in-person experience will take place at Federal Way Memorial Stadium.
Q: What time is graduation?
A: Please visit www.fwps.org/Graduation2021 to view the start time for each ceremony, as well as your assigned walk time. Remember, you will need to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time.
Q: When will I receive my parking pass?
A: Each graduate will be provided a graduation packet that includes a cover letter, health attestation forms for you and your guests, two parking passes, a map of the area, memorabilia tickets (your attestation form is your actual ticket to the event), and other important information. Your school will provide this packet before graduation.
