FWPS Scholars and Families, Register and Attend STEM Exploration Night!
This online event will take place on Wednesday, March 31, from 5-7 p.m., and it will be filled with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) opportunities for students ages PreK-12th grade. Come and check out vendor booths, exciting panels and more! Scholars of all grade levels will find what they need to explore, prepare, or launch into one of the many STEM jobs in our region!
Register now at: https://fwps.junolive.co/welcome
If parents are registering more than one child, follow these instructions:
1. After completing the registration for your first scholar, you will be taken to a confirmation page.
2. Click on the
icon in the upper right corner to go to the user profile.
3. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen and click on “LOGOUT” to log out of the first scholar’s account.
4. You will be taken back to the main registration page and can register your next scholar for STEM Exploration Night.
Here’s a sneak peek of what’s happening at this year’s fun event:
- Be one of the first 500 scholars to register, and you’ll receive a STEM Exploration Night t-shirt!
- Talk with local companies like Boeing, Microsoft, Ignite Worldwide, and others to learn about how you can prepare now for an exciting STEM career. The Seattle metropolitan area ranks #4 in STEM job growth so start taking steps now to learn about STEM careers!
- Scholars can participate in live workshops, like the Microsoft Coding and Minecraft Experience Rooms.
- Experience the “arts” in STEAM by watching scholar-produced films at the STEM Film Festival!
