Running Start

  • INTERESTED IN RUNNING START? Read on!

    WHAT: Running Start is a program where students can attend a local college to earn both college and high school credit. Participation in Running Start can be full-time or part-time. Transportation is not provided for this program.

    WHO: To participate, students must be a junior or senior and have a minimum 2.0 GPA.

    HOW: If you are interested in this program, please refer to TJ's Running Start Procedures by reading our Steps to Enroll and Parent Agreement documents.     If you are interested in a different college's Running Start Program, just visit that school's Running Start Program website to learn more and work with your counselor.


    **PLEASE NOTE: Seniors must complete their high school graduation requirements by the end of Winter Quarter of their senior year to particpate in TJ's graduation ceremony in June.
