Community Support and Donation Options

  • Technology:

With COVID-19 impacts, the need for increased technology access for scholars is critical. Local community member Gerald Smiley reached out to the district to see how his organization could help get more laptops to FWPS scholars. He’s donating 100% of the proceeds towards attainment of 5,000 more laptops. Check it out here: Pilot.chip-in.co/pot/1.

    School Supplies:

Each year, parents are paying up to $100 for school supplies per child. With COVID-19, we know many families are taking a financial hit, and we want to ease the burden of school supply costs.

The district is purchasing school supplies in bulk to offer them at a reduced price or no cost to families.

For families who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch (FRL), the supplies will be at no cost, otherwise it will be $20 per child.

This is a significant savings for families and helps at a critical time to ensure students have the tools they need to be successful with their learning.
