Since becoming superintendent, Dr. Tammy Campbell continues to offer and expand family engagement opportunities.
New for the 2019-20 school year is the Parent Advisory to the Superintendent. Over 70 parents representing 37 school sites are learning about the district's roadmap for improvement, successes and challenges, and parents offer their input. They represent multiple backgrounds and perspectives and reflect the rich diversity of our district.
In August, all parents and guardians had an opportunity to express their interest. In September, two parent representatives were selected from each site.
The Advisory will meet with the superintendent on a monthly basis and will get a chance to visit classrooms as well. A warm welcome to the first Parent Advisory to the Superintendent!
