April & May are School Board Recognition Months

  • The 24th Annual School Board Recognition events are being held throughout the months of April and May. This year, these events honor and celebrate Federal Way Public Schools scholars and staff who represent the ideals of the district’s Strategic Plan. This includes scholars who have demonstrated significant improvement, outstanding character, and/or noteworthy academic achievement, as well as staff who have made a significant impact in the efforts to support a specific goal identified in the Strategic Plan.

    Tuesday, April 16, 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Federal Way High School

    Featuring: Federal Way High School, Lake Grove Elementary, Mark Twain Elementary, Mirror Lake Elementary, Nautilus K-8, Sacajawea Middle School, Wildwood Elementary, and Woodmont K-8.

  • Thursday, April 25, 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Decatur High School

    Featuring: Decatur High School, Adelaide Elementary, Brigadoon Elementary, Green Gables Elementary, Lakota Middle School, Olympic View Elementary, Silver Lake Elementary, and Twin Lakes Elementary.

  • Tuesday, April 30, 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Thomas Jefferson High School

     Featuring: Thomas Jefferson High School, Camelot Elementary, Kilo Middle School, Lake Dolloff Elementary, Meredith Hill Elementary, Star Lake Elementary, Sunnycrest Elementary, Totem Middle School, and Valhalla Elementary.

  • Thursday, May 2, 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Todd Beamer High School  

    Featuring: Todd Beamer High School, Enterprise Elementary, Illahee Middle School, Lakeland Elementary, Panther Lake Elementary, Rainier View Elementary, Sequoyah Middle School, and Sherwood Forest Elementary.

  • Thursday, May 9, 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Truman Campus 

    Featuring: Career Academy at Truman, ETP, Federal Way Public Academy, Internet Academy, Federal Way Open Doors, and TAF@Saghalie.
