Hello Evergreen Middle School Families,
I am so excited to see our scholars return for the 2022-23 school year. As we return to learning in the fall, Evergreen is focused on scholar safety, well-being, and rigorous academic learning. We will continue to cultivate an environment where staff and scholars Stand Tall by
Being Responsible, Respectful and Kind.
I look forward to partnering with you to make this year an amazing experience for your child.
Thank you for entrusting your child to the Evergreen staff. Please feel free to call or email me if any questions or concerns arise. I welcome conversations and hope to continue building our partnerships. I look forward to working alongside you to help our scholars at Evergreen have a successful year.
In partnership,
Mrs. Collins
Proud Principal of Evergreen Middle School
Our school goals, derived from the Federal Way School District Strategic Plan, will guide our work at Evergreen. We truly believe that when scholars have a strong sense of belonging, they are operating from an optimized state for learning, growing, and reflecting.
Goal 2: Whole Child: Thriving, Confident, Responsible Individuals
Our goal is to have 100% of our staff and scholars report that they belong and are connected to the content, to the school, and to each other (scholar to scholar, scholar to staff, staff to staff, home to school).
Goal 4: Content-Area Competence: Master of all Subjects
100% of our lessons are designed to prepare for and engage all scholars in grade level learning focused on rigorous tasks of high cognitive demand with high expectations and high supports.
