2018 Graduation
-
We are proud to share photos from the Federal Way Public Schools high school graduation ceremonies held Saturday, June 16, 2018, when approximately 1600 accomplished student-scholars ascended the stage to receive their diplomas. They represented every comprehensive high school – Federal Way High School, Thomas Jefferson High School, Decatur High School, and Todd Beamer High School – as well as TAF@Saghalie, Internet Academy, Federal Way Open Doors and Truman. Collectively our graduates garnered almost $12 million in scholarship monies.
Principals, Board Directors, staff members, and student speakers shared words of inspiration and advice to class of 2018 graduates. Superintendent Dr. Tammy Campbell emphasized to the scholars that they do not need to be perfect, and they should give more than they get. She stressed the importance of thinking about the person on the receiving end of any action you take and questioning how you would feel in their shoes.
At Federal Way Public Schools, we believe in “Each scholar: A voice. A dream. A BRIGHT future.”
