Dear Wildwood Elementary Parents, Guardians, Scholars, and Community,
It is with great enthusiasm that I have the opportunity to be Interim Principal of Wildwood Elementary for the 2019-2020 school year!
Originally from the Dallas, Texas area, I taught multiple elementary grade levels for 12 years and held various leadership positions including grade level team leader, PLC Coach, and curriculum writer. Upon moving to Washington four years ago, I taught at Enterprise Elementary here in Federal Way before becoming their Instructional Coach and Assessment Coordinator. This year, I served as the Assistant Principal at Camelot Elementary, just down the street from Wildwood.
My primary mission as your principal is to ensure that all scholars at Wildwood are achieving academically, socially, and emotionally while building relationships and making memories that will last a lifetime. We will continue to focus and collaborate on rigorous instruction while also implementing solid systems around PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports). Wildwood Elementary is an amazing school, and I am eager to be one of the many dream makers for our scholars.
As we start planning for the 2019-2020 school year, here is some information to keep in mind:
• Wildwood Temporary Campus
• 3600 S 344th Way Federal Way, WA 98001
• Main Phone: (253) 945-4400
• Bell Times: 9:20 am – 3:50 pm
• All scholars will be offered bus transportation and routes will be announced soon.
