May is School Board Recognition Month!

  • The 22nd Annual School Board Recognition events are being held throughout the month of May. This year, these events honor and celebrate Federal Way Public Schools scholars and staff who represent the ideals of the district’s Strategic Plan. These include scholars who have demonstrated significant improvement, outstanding character, and/or noteworthy academic achievement, as well as staff who have made a significant impact in the efforts to support a specific goal identified in the Strategic Plan.

    Thursday, May 4, 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Federal Way High School
    Featuring: Federal Way High School, Mark Twain Elementary, Nautilus K-8, Sacajawea Middle School, Valhalla Elementary, Wildwood Elementary, and Woodmont K-8
     

  • Wednesday, May 1, 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Thomas Jefferson High School
    Featuring: Thomas Jefferson High School, Camelot Elementary, Kilo Middle School, Lake Dolloff Elementary, Meredith Hill Elementary, Star Lake Elementary, Sunnycrest Elementary, and Totem Middle School.
     

  • Monday, May 15, 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Decatur High School
    Featuring: Decatur High School, Adelaide Elementary, Brigadoon Elementary, Green Gables Elementary, Lake Grove Elementary, Lakota Middle School, Olympic View Elementary, and Twin Lakes Elementary.
     

  • Thursday, May 18, 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Todd Beamer High School
    Featuring: Todd Beamer High School, Enterprise Elementary, Illahee Middle School, Mirror Lake Elementary, Panther Lake Elementary, Rainier View Elementary, and Sherwood Forest Elementary

    Featuring: Career Academy at Truman, Federal Way Public Academy, Internet Academy, Lakeland Elementary, Federal Way Open Doors, Saghalie Middle School, Sequoyah Middle School, Silver Lake Elementary, and TAF Academy
