Principal's Message

  • Principal Brooke PerryHello Camelot families!

Here at Camelot, we are gearing up to welcome back all of our scholars for the 2022-2023 school year! I have spent the summer taking time to learn all about what makes Camelot such a spectacular place. It's been a joy to learn all about the traditions, strengths, and what our community feels are the next steps in our continued growth as a school.

This year, our work will be guided by the theme "Being Deeply Known". We recognize the impact that a safe and positive relationship between all members of a school community has on the academic and social success of our scholars. Knowing that, our staff is committed to creating welcoming learning environments that foster a strong sense of belonging for all scholars; where they are known by more than just their name, but by the unique qualities that make them inherently valued.

We have some exciting activities planned and information to kick off the 2022-2023 school year!

Welcome Back Meet-and-Greet: Thursday, September 1 from 5:30-7:00. Drop in to see the school, meet your teacher, and grab a treat!

-All scholars must register and/or verify their information prior to the school year. This can be done at: or call (253) 945-2500 for support.
-First day of school for 1st through 5th grade is Tuesday, September 6.
-First day of kindergarten is Friday, September 9 - a kindergarten Family Welcome Meeting will take place on the 9th from 9:00-10:00am.
-First day of preschool is Monday, September 12.

I am so excited to be the new principal at Camelot Elementary and to welcome scholars and families back into the building. We are looking forward to a year of many social and academic successes for our scholars, and working together to be deeply known.

    In Service,

    Brooke Perry

    Principal, Camelot Elementary
