Dear Shooting Star Families,
I am thrilled to be joining the team at Enterprise for the 2021-2022 school year! I appreciate the work that Jeff Soltez has done during his last nine years as Principal and want to wish him a happy retirement. Knowing that I’m only the third principal that Enterprise Elementary School has ever had, it is a testament to the community that makes up this school and I am honored to be here.
As an educator, I have had the pleasure of working at all three levels: elementary, middle school, and high school, and I am excited to return to the elementary level and invest in our youngest learners. From these experiences, I know first-hand how the work we do with scholars each day in elementary school makes a huge impact for their success and trajectory later in middle and high school. I have worked in Federal Way Public Schools for the last seven years and choose to continue working in this district because my core values strongly align with the mission and vision of equity and working to break down barriers so that all our scholars can have and follow their dreams.
As I begin my principalship at Enterprise, I am looking forward to getting to know you, our students and families, our staff and community members. This summer I will be hosting a few drop in sessions via zoom to chat with families and scholars. I would love to connect, to hear what you love about Enterprise and what you hope for our school and scholars moving forward. I look forward to learning from you about Enterprise and partnering with you for scholar success this coming year. The dates and times of drop in zooms are:
Wednesday, July 7th 5:30-6:30pm
Thursday, July 8th, 10:30-11:30am
Saturday, July 10th, 9:00-10:00am
Stay tuned for the zoom link. I can’t wait to meet you and your scholar!
