Hello, Star Lake Families!

My name is Jessica Hilderbrand, and this is my second year as the Family Liaison at Star Lake Elementary.  As we begin another school year, I would like to welcome back all returning families and extend a warm welcome to all new families. I look forward to continuing to support Star Lake families and staff as we work together towards the common goal of social/emotional and academic success for each and every scholar.

Please allow me to help you to:

1. Be Informed:  Get to know school staff and understand the policies that affect your scholar’s education.  Learn about our school’s schedule, procedures, and expectations. I will do my best to answer all questions in a timely manner!
2. Be Prepared: Have a plan and resources to support academic growth. Help your scholar and school staff understand your expectations and beliefs about respectful partnerships and a good education.
3. Be Connected: Share your ideas, and connect with the person who can best answer your needs. Help school staff discover meaningful and effective ways to support your partnership at home and in the school.
