WHO WE ARE
Lakeland Elementary serves approximately 400 scholars in the Lakeland South neighborhood. We make learning fun and engaging for scholars, offering enriching academic experiences with real-world application and exploration. Strong family and community partnerships help create a close-knit school with generous opportunities to enhance the scholar experience through guest visits, field trips, events, and more.

Federal Way Public Schools (FWPS) hosted the seventh annual STEM Exploration Night, attracting a record-breaking crowd of over 3,600. Scholars and families explored science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and learned about career opportunities that lead to high-demand careers in the region.
Federal Way Public Schools is excited to offer multiple in-person summer learning experiences for scholars again this summer. Space is limited so register early!
