Life After High School Oct. 15

The district-wide annual "Life After High School” event will be held in the cafeteria at Federal Way High School, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15th, 2008. The format is similar to a college fair. Students are welcome to walk through and visit with the representatives of over 60 post-secondary education, apprenticeship and employment options.

All of Washington’s four-year private and public universities and Puget Sound technical and community colleges will be on hand. Many out-of-state colleges and private technical colleges, all branches of the military including academies and ROTC programs, and apprenticeship programs are also going to be represented. There will also be a variety of post high school-related seminars about the SAT/ACT, financial aid, playing college sports, college essays, and how to get into the college of your choice.

This event is targeted to all high school students in the district, however middle school students are encouraged to attend and start their "Life After High School" search early.

Federal Way High School is located at 30611 16th Avenue South, Federal Way, WA 98003.
