Bond Information - Latest News

Sept. 2007 - Following the May 15 approval of the bond measure by voters, the district quickly went to work.  A citizen’s oversight committee was formed and has met to discuss their role in the construction process.  Principals at the elementary schools are meeting together to develop a district-wide vision of what elementary school buildings should include, although specific configurations of those schools may vary.

Architects for the projects have been selected: two Seattle firms, the DLR Group (http://www.dlrgroup.com/) will be responsible for the elementary schools and Bassetti Architects (http://www.bassettiarch.com/) will handle Lakota Middle School and the new Support Service Center.

A timeline for all projects has been developed.
