Federal Way Public Schools
Community Volunteers
Volunteers within our school district focus on tutoring students, usually one-on-one or in small groups. You do not have to be an expert to volunteer-----we will provide you with valuable training and support.
Usually, we ask for a commitment of about 30 minutes to one hour of your time per week. Most schools need tutors during the regular school day, usually 8:00am – 3:00pm. If you work during the day, check with your employer-----some businesses are willing to offer a flexible lunch hour or even pay you for your tutoring time!
