1. The student uses the language of Hot Metals to communicate ideas and information

  • 1. Demonstrate sketching techniques
  • 2. Demonstrate desgin planning of a project
  • 3. Construct a project that uses hot metals conpetencies and skills
  • 4. Demonstrate knowledge of safety procedures in a practical test to the instructor's satisfaction

2. The student will develop projects and plans that incorporate the use of accurate measurement.

  • 1. Demonstrate the use of acurate measurement skills in the development of projects
  • 2. Demonstrate the correct use of a variety of measurement devices

3. The student will apply the creative process in designing and constructing a Hot Metals project.

  • 1. Use appropriate hot Metals terminology, proper techniques, safety procedures, and materials
  • 2. Apply knowledge related to various welding styles and techniques

4. The student will understand career opportunities, related subjects, and how working with Hot Metals relates to other job fields

  • 1. Demonstrate math and writing skills related to planning and steps of procedure development
