Third Grade Learning Expectations

The learning expectations listed below are for third grade. Students will be assessed based on their progress toward meeting these grade-level expectations. Promotion will be based on the mastery of the reading expectations.

Computer Technology Expectations

Third-grade students will:

1. Create individual slide show (5 slides).
2. Save and retrieve a document.
3. Use a non-alpha numberic key.
4. Use "Edit" on the menu bar
5. Name and place a folder in a specific location.
6. Touch type approximately 10 words per minute (WPM).
7. Type a short story using any program.
8. Explain different ways computer technology is used.
