Time
Alone*

Toad said,
"My friend is not at home."
Toad said, "I feel so all alone!"
Frog said,
"I need some time alone."
Frog said, "Away from friends and home."
Toad said,
"Where can my friend Frog be?"
Toad said, "I want him here with me!"
Frog said,
"It's peaceful on this rock."
Frog said, "Away from phone and clock."
Toad said,
"I'll go and find my friend."
Toad said, "I'll bring him tea and bread."
Frog said,
"Who's swimming out to me?"
Frog said, "I think it's Toad I see."
Toad said,
"It's me, your special friend."
Toad said, "I'm here with you again!"
Frog said,
"I'm happy to see you!"
Frog said, "Our time is special too!"
